We are please to announce the return of Club Race Nights to Kings Swim Club. Race nights are an enjoyable way for swimmers to gain racing experience in a no-pressure atmosphere, where coaches are on hand to offer advice. It is also the perfect opportunity for swimmers to swim in races outside of their comfort zone.
Race nights will begin with some stretching and a short warm-up. There will usually be at least 3 races. There will be a minimum of 3 races per night where coaches will determine distances for each squad, with something along the line a 50m, 100m and 200m, then every second or third race night there will be a 400m. These will decided as we progress and will be determined by the number of swimmers we get in attendance.
We will try and do an 800m and a 1500m and these events will be pre-advertised to those who want to do it don’t miss out.
We know it is short notice but we didn’t want to wait any longer so our first club night will be held at Frankston on Friday 21st September from 5.00 – 7.00pm and the second at Narre Warren on Saturday 20th October 12:15 – 2:15pm
